As Director of Alumni and Public Relations in the Department of English from 2003 to 2009, I  supervised the development of the departmental website and the publication of Future Traditions: The Magazine for Alumni and Friends of Rutgers English. The department’s communications strategy aimed to “make visible” the achievements of faculty as scholars and teachers, as well as the accomplishments of students and alumni.
